THANKS FOR TEN AMAZING YEARS…
Ten years seems like a long time, yet it also seems like just yesterday that I was taking some simple black and white sketches to the copier to promote the very first Maryland Independent Label Festival. A lot has changed since then… The fest has a name that people can instantly recognize, but that is only part of it… Over the years, the fest has taken on it’s own personality as M.I.L.Fest shirts, cups, hats, belts, stickers, magazines, and other items can always be found being proudly displayed by fans and artists at the event. The sounds of great Maryland talent, along with the display of Maryland vendors, and fans wearing their M.I.L.Fest gear is always a great experience. When you are at a M.I.L.Fest, you can clearly see how much talent and love that Maryland has to offer. This event means a lot to me, but the love, support and excitement that I see from fans and artists means even more. Your love and support is what helped shape the M.I.L.Fest into the event that it is today. I have huge plans for the future of the Maryland Independent Label Festival, and I know that it will be a success because it has been over ten years now, and you haven’t let me down yet.
Thank you all so much for the support…
With all of the new talent hitting the scene these days, it’s hard to stand out from the rest and really make an impression. Even though they are a new band, Staunton does just that…
